Willowtrail Farm - Putting Rare Breeds to Use

Fell Ponies

From just 30 on the North American continent to well over 800 in 2023, Fell Ponies don’t seem as rare as they used to. Nonetheless, the semi-wild herds in their native land of northern England are endangered which keeps this breed on conservation status lists.

Youngstock usually for sale

Lincoln Red Cattle

Lincoln Reds are today a beef breed but like many others had their start as triple purpose: draft, dairy, and beef. They are medium-framed, great mothers, easy calvers, hardy and easy fleshing.

We will have our first calves for sale in 2023.
